About us
The Governing Council of the Cybersecurity Association of Catalonia is the body in charge of establishing the strategic direction, making important decisions and guaranteeing the effective operation of the association in its mission to promote cyber security in the region of Catalonia. Composed of representatives from various areas of expertise in cybersecurity, the council brings together experience, knowledge and leadership to address the challenges and opportunities in this critical field.
Composition
The Governing Council is made up of prominent professionals and business leaders in the technology sector, forensic IT experts and legal experts. Each member brings a unique and valuable perspective, combining technical skills, forensic experience and legal knowledge to address the various aspects of cybersecurity. In addition, the geographical diversity of the members, located in different regions of Catalonia, guarantees an equitable representation and a comprehensive understanding of the local challenges in the field of cyber security.
Responsibilities
Establishment of the Strategy: The Governing Council defines the long-term vision and establishes the strategic objectives of the association, identifying priority areas of action to promote cyber security in Catalonia
Board members make important decisions about policies, programs and projects, ensuring that the association's initiatives are aligned with the goals and core values.

It oversees the operational and financial management of the association and guarantees efficiency and transparency in all activities.
They act as representatives of the association in various forums, establishing relationships with other organizations, government institutions and companies in the sector to promote collaboration and knowledge sharing in the field of cyber security
The council builds relationships with technology companies, security service providers, and other cybersecurity-related organizations to promote the sharing of best practices, resources, and collaboration opportunities.
