Objectives and purposes

THE CYBERSECURITY ASSOCIATION OF CATALONIA has as its main purpose to highlight and strengthen the competitiveness of the value chain of the business sector linked to cyber security, as a driver of the Catalan economy and the launch, directly or indirectly, of any activity or project aimed at promoting and promoting the sector in Catalonia.

It is therefore the object of this Association, mainly, to stimulate and exploit the synergies between the entities that participate in order to promote the interaction between companies, teaching, the scientific and technological environment in our country within the field of cyber security .

The following basic lines or activities are established, among others, to achieve the objectives of the Association:

Cybersecurity awareness

Educate the Catalan population on the importance of cyber security.

Provide educational resources, workshops and talks about cyber threats and how to protect yourself.

Collaboration and Networking

Foster collaboration between professionals, companies and organizations in the field of cyber security in Catalonia.

Organize events, conferences and meetings for members to share knowledge and make contacts.

Professional Development

Offer training and certification programs in cyber security.

Facilitate professional development opportunities and promote careers in cybersecurity.

Advice and Consulting

Provide cybersecurity advisory and consulting services for companies and organizations.

Stay updated on the latest cyber trends and threats to provide informed advice.

Research and Development

Encourage research in the field of cyber security.

Collaborate with academic and research institutions to promote the development of new security technologies and approaches

Participation in Public Policies

Advocate for effective cyber security policies at the local and regional level.

Collaborate with government entities to contribute to the development of regulations and standards related to cyber security

Disclosure of Current Threats

Keep members informed about the latest threats and vulnerabilities.
